thingiverse

This is a gravity screwdriver imitating a gravity knife, designed with a lock, for carrying around and avoiding being poked by the tip of the screwdriver. The model provides shells with two lengths. The shells match all screwdrivers with a hexagonal shape and a distance between opposite sides of 4mm. There are round holes at the bottom for placing magnets with a diameter of 4mm and a length of 4mm. The longer shell is suitable for replaceable head screwdrivers commonly found on the market, and the shorter shell is suitable for special double-headed 4mm hexagonal screwdrivers. You can find a suitable head by yourself. It is best to use the 3mf in the file package as a reference for the placement of the model when printing. The smoothness of this model depends on the bridging performance of the machine, so your machine should have good heat dissipation. Otherwise it may take a lot of grinding work to make the workpiece slide smoothly. The pins for the two shells are different. The short shell is suitable for a long double-headed screwdriver, and there is not much space at the end. Therefore, the two short pins need to be glued into the grooves of the shell respectively. The longer shell has enough space to use A long pin runs through the housing to hold it in place. Glue is recommended for both mounting pins, though it is best sanded smooth before gluing. It is recommended to use PETG or ABS as printing material with superior strength to obtain greater torque.
