grease tray for small George Foreman grill It leaked.... But I fixed that with a couple coats of spray paint. Instructions [update 3-12-15] Fixed it. Thinner layers didn't prevent leaks. If there's the tiniest void or hole, hot grease will leak. So, I spray painted the inside with 2 coats of "RUST-OLEUM Textured Plastic" (paint). That did the trick. I forget where I purchased it or how much it cost. Home Depot may have it. This paint is recommended for vinyls, polystyrene, resins, fiberglass, PVC, and just about anything outdoor plastic furniture might be made of. Indoor- outdoor. No primer required. Painting is an easy way to seal prints when there are no other factors to consider. [update 3-7-15] I tried cooking a half-pound burger, and the tray leaked... Not too bad, but the bottom was all wet with grease and water. A few drops got on plastic wrap I always protect the counter-top with (these grills are messy), so clean up wasn't necessary, but I still prefer it holds hot, liquid grease better than it does now. The problem might be due to the coarse 0.40mm layers. I'm printing another at a finer resolution.. 0.30mm and at slow speed (100 minutes).... and will try it again in a day or two.]]] Small George Foreman grill from a thrift store had no drip tray. This tray took 60 minutes to print, using 41 grams of ABS. Average speed and medium fill, but with thick 0.40mm layers to save time. The 6 inch long tray (1.25 inch tall, 2 inches wide) will fit on the Afinia H-49 build plate if it is rotated 45 degrees. If this STL file is tiny when imported to your (metric) print software, scale up by a factor of 25.4. (It should then be 152.4mm long.) And I suppose this tray might be scaled to fit different grills, if the printer has the capacity.
