My son wanted to be Greed from Full Metal Alchemist. I made him some shiny teeth for the occasion. I attached the photo I found that inspired my design. Tell me what you think? Is it a good job for a dad who knows little about the show? Update: I added a second version that can clamp onto a costume using 2 screws. Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Geetech Prusa i3b Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 30% Rectilinear Notes: I printed the first 5 layers in black filament, then switched to white filament. This gives the spaces between the teeth a nice black colour. I used 3 perimeters, side top and bottom. The top fill pattern I set to concentric, as I think makes the smaller teeth surface better. The canine teeth are not steep, so supports aren't needed. The back support for the screwed version can be any colour, as it will never be seen. Post-Printing I used PLA, so then I was able to use heat forming to bend it to fit my son's face. I set my build plate to 95 degrees, let it sit for a few minutes, then it bent perfectly onto the face. Be careful it's a one shot deal, once it's bent it won't sit flat, so if you need a second try, you'll have to boil a pot of water. Update: Version 2 with the screw clamps is designed to use computer case fan screws. Other short screws will probably work.
