Greenhouse dowel / pipe fittings

I designed these fittings using tinkercad so I could build a greenhouse around the raised bed in my backyard. See attached photos for the end result. At the original size, these fittings will work with 1/2 inch dowels. They can be scaled up to fit dowels of different sizes. For my greenhouse, I decided to go with 3/4 inch dowels for better integrity. Scaling the models to 148% of the original size fit 3/4 inch dowels. If I were to do it all over, I would probably go even larger -- 1-inch dowels. :) I attached the dowels at the base to the raised bed using metal clasps bought at the hardware store.
