Gridlock (Cilada)
thingiverse
The game was born in the 80's by Ideal as part of the HI-Q collection. I acquired a copy from Estrela, a renowned Brazilian toy maker who dubbed it Cilada, or Trap in English. Unfortunately, my Estrela version came with missing parts, so I stepped up to create the missing pieces myself. One thing led to another, and before long, I had completed the entire game - although I did skip the hinge box mechanism due to a lack of 3D design expertise. To bring this project to life, you'll need to print the following components: A: Four individual parts B: Three distinct pieces C: Three more unique elements D: Two separate items E: Two additional pieces F: Two more components You'll also require one of the G, H, I, J, K, L, M, or N pieces. In a future iteration, I plan to include the puzzle codes within the case itself. For now, these codes are available in the accompanying text and solutions PDF.
