Grill for Adafruit Speaker Set (remix - 2)
thingiverse
I'm working from scratch here. Sketchup wouldn't cooperate, so I turned to AutoCAD and a pair of calipers instead. The overall dimensions and hole layout came straight from adafruit, while the center grille's details were copied using those trusty calipers. For this remix, I thought it was time to give it some extra depth by adding radii to the edges for that plush cushion effect. If I'm honest, if I were to print it again, I'd probably shave off a millimeter or two. It's printed in PLA on my trusty 210 x 60 bed setup with a layer height of 0.2 and 30% infill. No supports or raft needed here – just the glass bed and a splash of purple aquanet courtesy of tobycwood.
