The Light shown is the model that fits in the small recess in the side wall behind each pilot. It will need some careful supports to get it printed successfully, because the tube feeding into it extends beyond the main housing. I also added a few small supports under the recess designed to take the obscure lens. Even though I printed it at a layer height of .1200 mm the surface clearly shows the layers. If I was going to use it in my cockpit I would paint it with high build filler paint, with a final topcoat of semi matt black. I have uploaded two options, one with the main body in one piece and the other with it split in half. The latter has a separate bezel as well. I have not printed this option yet, so I don't know how well that would work. I only designed this on request from a fellow member of the cockpitbuilders forum, so the images show the first test print I made. You will also need a front lens made from 2mm thick opal acrylic. Lighting is up to the builder, but for a decent illumination I would suggest a small COB LED panel, or a couple of LED strips. I'd be interested to see any prints made from my design.
