Screw on hand grip for the Panasonic G9, and with a bit of squeeze the GX80, to provide additional support when using a heavy lens such as the Voigtlander series of MFT manual lenses. STL files included for the grip, three feet to provide clearance for the 1/4 UNF screw knob, threaded knob, and 1/4" UNF rod. OpenSCAD files included to enable models to be recreated or modified. NOTES 1. Change the value on line 133 (GripCubeW = 15) to change the length of the grip. 2. Components for the grip, feet and 1/4" UNF threaded knob included. 3. Glue the 1/4" studding (approx 14mm) into the knob. 4. Glue the feet on the base to raise the grip and accommodate the knob. 5. Print the knob at 0.15mm layer height or less. 6. Print the grip and feet at 0.3mm or less. 7. For those who don't have any steel threaded rod, use the printable plastic part. This has a hole down the centre for gluing in an 3mm rod/tube (e.g. sawn off M3 screw), or just epoxy glue. The hole is sized at 3.2mm so 1/8" tubing was used to prove the concept (line 330).
