Grip locking raptor hand palm

Grip locking raptor hand palm

This is a very rudimentary version of a locking grip system for e-nable's Raptor hand. It needs to be refined a LOT, but I wanted to share the idea so that better modelers than myself could work with it. The pin slides into a modified palm, with the usual cordage running through it. A twisting or sliding motion would pinch the cords and hold them in place. To do: 1.Refine cord holes to better match the existing channels 2.Develop a mechanism to hold the pin in a locked position that is easily operated with one hand but reliably secure. 3.Fine-tune tolerances so that the modification does not interfere with normal operation of the hand 4.Possible move the whole mechanism to the knuckle area. there might be more room there, and it might be stronger. this could also potentially allow for a larger pin, strengthening the design.
