The spindle sander comes with 3/4", 1" & 2" sanding sleeve bushings but big box stores sell sleeves in packages with 6 sizes - leaving 3 unusable. Since the arbor is 1cm rather than the more common 1/2" arbor, bushing sets with the additional sizes don't fit. Here you should find the 1/2", 1.5" & 3" bushings that fit the 10mm arbor. I've also created throat plates for the 1/2 & 3" sleeves because they would otherwise be unusable. I've not yet found the need for a custom plate when using the the 1-1/2" spindle, nor have I made any elongated plates for angled use. Maybe some day... Because the stock arbors are all different lengths, these bushings only fit the 4" long arbor - because it matches the sanding sleeve lengths I bought. Fortunately it's easy to scale the length in most slicers to any size you need without affecting the fit so you should be able to create bushings for either of the other arbors. Only the 1/2" bushing needs a raft. Yes, you really should use one. Otherwise none is needed. I set infill to 60% for the plates. Believe it or not, this makes them stronger than a100% setting. The bushings should have no fill unless you set VERY thin walls (bad idea) so your infill should be irrelevant. I use PC for plates and PETG for the bushings but other materials probably work well too. If the sanding sleeves slip off in use you might have the bushing upside down, thus making the bushing get smaller with pressure rather than bigger and tightening it's grip. If sleeves just fit too loosely, put some painters tape over the sleeve to thicken it up. The big bushings have a slot to provide flex to the circumference, allowing the sleeve to fit. When released it expands to tighten it's grip.
