Grocery Cart Tablet Holder Mk4

Grocery Cart Tablet Holder Mk4

This is one of my most talked-about designs, particularly in supermarkets where people are always asking where they can buy one. It slips onto the top of a grocery cart and holds my iPad (would work for other tablets too) so my shopping list is easily to hand while shopping. The Mk4 design attempts to make it sturdier and better able to fit more carts. I've lengthened the vertical so it better supports a tablet, moved the 'legs' down a little, and turned them to a sharper angle, so on carts where the Mk3 tends to leave it tilting forward, it should hold up better. There are stronger supports on the legs, a deeper cut-out for the button, and curved corners. Instructions You may need interior supports for the thumb cut-out. You will probably also need to pull out all the stops on avoiding curl if printing in PLA. I was never able to make that work, but it prints fine for me in ABS. Just means I can't leave in the car in summer or it will warp. Please post an I Made One and tell me which approach you used.
