GT2 Belt Axis Lock

GT2 Belt Axis Lock

thingiverse

I have been refurbishing and reselling broken 3D printers, and found that I needed a good, reliable way to lock the axes without relying on packing material (styrofoam, etc) to keep the internal parts from moving during shipping. So, I designed these really handy clips that allow locking each axis by meshing the GT2 belt to itself (tooth-to-tooth) without compromising the belt or applying tape or a cable tie that might be forgotten during unpacking. There are two models: The wide version (recommended) for use when there is plenty exposed GT2 belt, and a narrow version when there is only a short distance exposed. Hope this comes in handy for you - I use them on every outbound shipment!
