GT2 Timing Belt Spool

GT2 Timing Belt Spool

This may help if you need a long strip of GT2 timing belt. Please note that it is open on both ends and it's not a closed belt. This is useful for linear motion control projects such as 3D printers. When unspooled, the belt length is a little over 36". This will obviously not work as a belt when printed with ABS or PLA (duh!). You'll need NinjaFlex or similar flexible material. Please note that NinjaFlex does stretch a little! Commercial quality timing belts usually bend but not stretch like rubber bands. Stretching can cause issues when the load offers resistance. Although I haven't tried it, it may be good enough for 3D printers and other light use. Instructions Print with flexible material such as NinjaFlex.
