I believe that the GT2560 board is one of the best boards if you would like to build your own printer. It's compact, well integrated and not too expensive. Also it supports most needs and has a well made layout. So I decided to build a universal housing that holds the board, a graphical smart controller and is easy to print. I've also payed attention that board set-up and installation is as easy as possible. This is guaranteed by using single plates that can be removed individually and give you best access to the board and it's components. In addition I decided to use an external power supply to be as flexible as possible. Currently the layout is designed for a RepRap printer without heated bed. But of course you can add a heated bed easily - just make sure your power supply is strong enough. Parts you need: - GT2560 controller board - Full Graphic Smart Controller (RepRapDiscount) - 12V/10A external power supply - 12V 60mm Fan (e.g Noise Blocker XR2) - D-Sub 15 & D-Sub25 connector - Power Switch (DS 059 SW) - DC panel jack (e.g. DC-EBU 072339) - 4x 3/10mm screws - 14x 3/10mm countersunk screws (10mm) - 4x 3mm nuts (for the fan) - 3 cable ties - and of course the printed parts of this Thing :) Assembly: Please refer to Instructions.pdf
