GTX 1080 FE Design USB Stick (Small)

<p>This is the Pendrive Case by Bramesh501, but way smaller. Most normal USB Flashdrives still fit in. I put the USB stick that comes with the Ultimaker 3 inside and it fits perfectly. I Suggest you check if the USB you want to put in fits. You can also buy the drive I used which is a Verbatim Silver drive: https://www.amazon.com/Verbatim-Metal-Executive-Silver-98749/dp/B017JJSJZM</p> <p>You'll probably need to sand down the cap to fit in properly if you print with a 0.4 nozzle. I printed again with a 0,25 nozzle and the cap fits perfectly.</p> <p>This is printable with a FDM printer. You'll need a low layer height for a decent result. I have no experience with resin.</p> <p>I used Cura to slice the model.</p> <p>EDIT: The new file (GTX Thumbdrive without holes) has a smooth top surface and is better optimized for printing. Doesn't matter much. 100% would be stronger. </p></div></p> <p><strong>Notes:</strong></p> <p>I recently printed again with a 0.25 nozzle, the letters on the side are better readable. The top will look better with a lower layer height.</p> <h3> Post-Printing</h3> <p>To finish the Stick, I sanded the pins and the cap to fit. I also sanded the top a little to smooth everything. I painted the Flashdrive Case black, silver/chrome and the letters green. (search gtx 1080 TI for the Original design). Finished painting with a protection coat. Then I glued the the flashdrive inside with a hot glue gun.</p> </p></p> Category: Computer
