This is a housing for a Sony IMX290 camera board. IMX290 sensor is an extremely sensitive low-light camera used by the popular brand name companies (don't get it mixed up with IMX291). Here I'm using as an auto-guide camera for my astrophotography setup. I've paired it with a 60mm guide scope. The IMX290 is a plug and play camera on Windows, PHD2 recognizes it as a WMD camera. Just remove the lens that came with the camera board and add guide scope. It does tend to get hot, could easily add fan in housing but I haven't seen any performance issues when used as auto-guider. Purchased camera for $53. https://www.amazon.com/Spinel-Support-1920x1080-Compliant-Adjustable/dp/B07L6TPB35/ref=sr_1_3?crid=22DWE6I5S91RA&keywords=imx290&qid=1664810953&qu=eyJxc2MiOiIzLjAwIiwicXNhIjoiMS43MCIsInFzcCI6IjEuMzAifQ%3D%3D&sprefix=imx290%2Caps%2C1091&sr=8-3&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.18ed3cb5-28d5-4975-8bc7-93deae8f9840
