Guidescope adapter for 9x50 finder scope and IMX290 sensor module
thingiverse
This allows you to mate an imx290 like board to a celestron 9x50 finder scope to make an effective (hopefully) and cheap guide camera for an application like Push Here Dummy (phd2) to allow you to take longer guided astrophotos. Special thanks to fmendes for making https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4485282 I wanted something that was easier to focus, like peetas https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3444749 but that would take a camera board module. I re-mixed andre-stefanov's https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4555645 to add threads that would allow me to screw it into the finder that comes with many Celestron scopes. Fit is fine and was able to successfully focus on stars. I will operationally test once the weather clears up!
