Guitar Pick and Capo Keeper

Guitar Pick and Capo Keeper

I got tired of constantly knocking my picks off my music stand, so decided to fix it with a 3D print. The keeper will hold 3 picks of varying thicknesses with a minimum of about 0.3mm. Since I sometimes use a capo, I added a keeper for it as well. The whole thing straps onto a music or mic stand using a ninjaflex strap.

I added a pad that gets glued into the back of the main body to add some grip, but it's not necessary for me. It adds a little to the aesthetics of the keep (in my opinion) and will make sure whatever you're attaching this to doesn't get scratched.

I used a couple of small screws I had in a bin to hold the strap. One side slips into the print and the screw goes through it. The other side uses the same screw as a stud for the holes to slip over. The screws are about 10mm long and 3mm in diameter. I image an M3x8 or M3x10 would work just fine.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Creality

Printer:

Ender 3

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Filament: Techbears/Ninjatech PETG/TPU Black/Gray

Notes:

The strap needs to be printed in a material like Ninjaflex or other soft TPU with some elasticity to it. I printed this on my Ender 3, but it is heavily modified to be able to print this. Well worth the effort though to be able to use filaments like this.

Category: Music
