Guitar Picks

thingiverse

This is a set of three guitar picks that designed for my friend as a Christmas gift. One is blank, one has two stars on it, and one has a music note with the word "music" in script MT bold. I broke one when removing it, so be careful YOU NEED TO SCALE!!!! lay it flat on bed so that any imprints are UP once it is like that, long dimension = 30mm short dimension = 25mm height = .8mm - 1.3mm depending on desired flex Once you scale this correctly, it almost exactly the same size as the popular 351 style guitar pick. This is the most common style, everyone and their mother use it. This will fit in any guitar pick holder (like the one I will publish later!). The flex at .8mm is really nice. Anything below that may be difficult to remove from rafts. If anyone would like a pick with their name instead of "Music", let me know in the comments and I will be glad to do that for you. If anyone would like any other designs on the pick, I could try them (just comment), or I could upload the inventor file and you could edit it yourself if you have inventor. If you like this, check out my other designs, such as a business card holder, and the pick holder I plan to upload very soon (tonight). Thanks Print Settings Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: .4mm or below, .2mm recommended Infill: 100% Notes: YOU NEED TO SCALE!!!! lay it flat on bed so that any imprints are UP once it is like that, long dimension = 30mm short dimension = 25mm height = .8mm - 1.3mm depending on desired flex I recommend using rafts, because in my experience they peel off the bed otherwise, even at 130 degrees Celsius. For high quality prints, you will need a high resolution. I recommend .2mm for both the ones with imprints, and .3mm for the blank. You can go up to .4mm, but it won't be great. If you want a very high quality one, such as a long name, .1mm or below if your printer can handle that.
