Guitar String Winder for Drill

Guitar String Winder for Drill

thingiverse

A string winding bit with a standard hex shaft for chucking into your drill/driver. I've tested it out on several guitars, banjos, and other stringed instruments. It doesn't fit any of mine perfectly, but fits all of them well enough to be really useful. Aides in the initial winding of strings when you're installing a new set. Depending on the gear ration of your instrument's machine heads or whatnot, this can be a real pain with maybe hundreds of turns during the course of a string change. Printed with .4mm wall thickness - three walls, 25% infill. Best of luck. If you use this thing, use common sense. Don't break your stuff!
