These timbers were found on the foreshore at Rotherhithe. The gun carriage cheeks form part of a gridiron which is made up of over 50 nautical timbers, from ships broken up during the early 19th century. The model was created for a free 3D training workshop for volunteers and members of the public, organised by the Thames Discovery Programme as part of the Tideway-supported series of events during 2017. The workshop was delivered by Oliver Hutchinson of CITiZAN and Azizul Karim of MOLA.
