INFORMATION:"H II" or "Human Dummy 2" by ©TANMAYA DESIGN is designed for ergonomics and anthropometric study in various application especially for automotive sectors. The dummy is based on various international standards including DIN-33408, EURO NCAP's "HYBRID-II" 50th PERCENTILE (74KG) Crash Test Dummy & NASA's ANTHROPOMETRY & BIOMECHANICS (Volume1, Section3) for MAN-SYSTEMS INTEGRATION STANDARDS .The dummy when standing in fully erect position with UK-10 size shoes, without helmet measures 1828.8mm or 6 feet in exact for a male human being. The dummy mass without "material application" weighs 45.754KG which is structural weight but with material application it weighs 72.5 KG (160 POUNDS). Normal Body Mass Index for a 6 feet male human being lies between 63.50 KG to 83.00 KG. Weight of "HYBRID-II" 50th PERCENTILE Crash Test Dummy is 74KG. Hence as per user selection the "H II" dummy's parts can be applied for suitable material selection to gain 72.5 KG (160 POUNDS) to improve bio fidelity. Hence the "H II" dummy matches nearest weight of "HYBRID-II" 50th PERCENTILE 74KG crash test dummy.The basic purpose of the "H II" design is for ergonomics and anthropometric study, hence some details were created like RIGHT & LEFT HAND ASSEMBLY so that dummy can hold steering wheel properly.
