I have watched many many videos where people were using slip joint pliers etc. To help turn the bolt on C308, CETME,or H&K G3 style rifle. This tool not only saves your fingers but possible damage to the bolt also. With this tool you don't have to struggle with pushing the bolt detent spring in to get it to unlock. It only fits one way and is designed to break before any, damage is done to your bolt. It gives you enough leverage to get (at least on my friends) the locking rollers to disengage so you can get it back in the receiver to reinstall or taken apart from the carrier for cleaning.
