Here is a simple H pattern shifter for racing and trucking simulators. Also includes an optional handbrake. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Px6vMj98-FQ Hardware needed: M3 screws, about 15 mm, about 20 pieces Arduino Micro or Leonardo (or other gamepad device) A rubber band Microswitches with long feelers (Ebay: "long lever microswitch") Desk clamps (Ebay: "cantilever clamp") Print one of each piece, and two of front_and_back_plate.stl Attach shifter_joint to shifter_stick, and shifter_joint to box_base Glue switches on to front and back plate. Solder grounds to each other and to the microcontroller ground. Solder NO pins to pins 2-10 of the arduino.
