Hailong Battery Mounting Plate How to drill battery mounting hole on your bike: 1. Get yourself a Rivet nut tool set that can handle M5. 2. Print the file "Battery mounting drill guide.stl" 3. Screw down the Hailong battery case base to your bottle holder with one screw 4. Align accordingly 5. Insert the "Battery mounting drill guide" into the slot hole. Start with the opposite end. You want to screw down the battery case base on the outer two ends. 6. Drill through the guided hole with 9/64 7. Afterward, remove the battery case base 8. At this point, drill onto the hole from next drill bit size. Make sure you go from increment drill bit. In another word, start with 9/64. Then 5/32, 11/64, 3/16, and etc. Until you get to 1/4. 9. Now, you need a 7mm drill bit. If you have metric, then you can start with 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, and then 7mm. 10. Install the M5 Rivet nut The key is slow increment the drill bit size until you get to 7mm. Repeat for the other two holes if required. Please note that there are two versions - one for 50mm frame and one for 40mm frame.
