Our hair dryer in the bathroom was always carried from one corner of the room into the other and wasted valuable room. To stop this I made a hanger to give the dryer a fixed position and get it out of the way. To mount this thing on the wall I used double-sided tape, what seems to hold pretty well. Alternatively I added to countersunk holes to prepare this for a mount with screws.
