Halcyon-class Light Cruiser

My rendition of the Halcyon-class Light Cruiser from Halo. Most of the thrusters and turrets were removed to simplify the appearance and reduce the file size. I may/may not texture this. The Halcyon-class light cruiser is a light capital ship classification in the UNSC Navy. It is best suited to front line combat duty alongside other cruisers like the Marathon. The Halcyon was designed by Reyes-Mclees shipyards, and is a dinosaur compared to most “modern” cruisers. It’s reactors are barely enough to properly power it with all systems on, it’s slow, unmaneuverable, and has a low armament of just 6 Archer pods, 3 auto-turrets and a MAC. However what defines the Halcyon is its durability; its unique design allows it to take a large amount of damage and keep moving. Halcyons perform best when used alongside other cruisers, use their durability to have them “tank” damage while the other, better armed cruisers are free to concentrate fire on the enemy.
