Half Octahedron, Make Your Own

Half Octahedron Things are interesting and often confusing in 3D space. How do you dissect a platonic (regular) octahedron? Of course, we could slice it into two square pyramids. But that is a bit boring. Here is a more interesting way to dissect it into two congruent pieces. It is easy to design in Fusion 360 using its dihedral angle [180-arccos(1/3)]. The easiest way to design a platonic octahedron is to extrude a square in two directions at a taper angle of (-acos(1/3)/2). We could also start with an equilateral triangle and then extrude and mirror around. It is a fun process. There are two versions provided: solids and shelled (2mm). The eighth pieces are also included.
