This is a mount for Hall sensors on the metal sled of the P3Steel printer. Print Settings Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Infill: 40% Notes: Print and mount Post-Printing If you do not have mounting holes drill them 12mm in and 5 mm up (and down) from the square gap. I use the a1104eua hall sensor and a 3,9k ohm pull up resistor. I mount the resistor at the connector by crimping it in the the female pins together with the wire. Then solider on the hall sensor and apply shrinkrap in the other end of the approx. 40 cm long wires Sandwich the three wires (in the grooves) and screw on the motor plate. I have on purpose placed the sensor with the stepper to minimize wire length to the ramps 1,4 board. The magnet is mounted on the x-carriage - please remember to have the right polarity for the hall sensor. Quick and dirty - hot glue. More advanced add to the hotend mount of your choice. The setup is pretty flexible - bend the hall sensor to align with the magnet.
