Ham Radio Tower Model Memento

This easy to assemble model of a radio tower is a great hand-out and memento at radio club events, Field Day, STEM events, or your open house event. I take a stack of these to events and hand them out. You can use a felt-tip marker to write the call sign or frequency at the base of the tower. During Field Day, when a guest made their first ham contact, we handed them a memento tower and welcomed them to the hobby. Some people want the kit, others wanted the tower already assembled – take both! I made a special version with a building and placed a red blinking LED inside the tower to really catch you eye. I’ll upload it when the final design is completed. While not needed, a drop or two of plastic cement will make the assembled tower permanent. PLA works great, and I found that white or red plastic is great if you want to paint the finished tower with the traditional FAA red/white markings. By printing many towers in different colors, you can mix-match the tower pieces as desired. Two different antenna styles are provided.
