Hammock Suspension Top Rail End Cap

This end cap fits a standard 1-3/8" Chain Link Fence Top Rail. I created this end cap to suspend my hammock between two DIY tripods. I made a hammock suspension system to hang my hammock without trees. A top rail between the two tripods is need to keep the tripods from pulling inward when weight is placed in the hammock. The cap is designed for use with 7/64" Amsteel. I created a 19" dog bone. The dog bone is weaved through the end cap, one loop (hole marked up) attaches to the tripod, the other loop coming out the opposite hole is attached to my hammock. The two pins keep the Amsteel from cutting through the plastic materiel. I tried many options without the pins, all failed. The 7/64" Amsteel with 200 lbs (100 lbs each side) easily cut into the plastic. With the pins (brass 1/8"x1") the weight of the user is transferred acoss the pin's lenght vs 7/64" of the Amsteel... I've pushed the weight on these end caps to 350 lbs, the max acceptable weight limit of my hammock. I'm using a 1"x1/8 rubber o-ring to improve pole fit and allow for variances in pole's ID.
