My first attempt at using OpenSCAD for 3D design work. Took me an afternoon to tweak the code and get it all up and running. Some improvements in the code have yet to be made. The script itself is straightforward in its use; just change the parameter variables at the head of the script to obtain the enclosure dimensions that you desire. Included in the package: 1 - Sample .STL files for both the enclosure and lid (in a 1590A enclosure form factor). 2 - The Simplify3D .factory file that displays my slicer settings. I hope that you find this useful as I have. Oh, and before I forget... if there are any experienced OpenSCAD users out there who have some pointers for me, by all means please do send them my way.
