It won't work for steppers as you need a high RPM. It works for larger brushed DC motors with the same shaft. This doesn't need supports to print as there are no overhangs but make sure that it is printed with flat face down. This way, it will be easier to crank. I have improved it so that it doesn't break under too much pressure and also look a bit nicer.
