The empty tubes of these 6 hand creams are the amount of hand cream that the owner used up at the beginning of the pandemic. These hand creams are a Christmas present bought by a friend in Hong Kong. The function of hand cream is to moisturize our hands, especially in the winter when the skin is dry. During the pandemic, people use too much hand cleaning products such as alcohol and disinfectants every day. Excessive cleaning caused the dryness of the hands and reminded people that this is a special and limited period in human history. Hand cream not only moisturizes hands, it also represents people’s pursuit of a higher standard of living. The smoothness and fragrance of hand cream will remind people that we originally lived in a convenient and comfortable society.
