Hand Held: a Circle Phone shell

myminifactory

This design of the Cyrcle casing is meant to be held easily in one hand. The speakers and microphones had their positions altered so that they would not be covered frequently. The left side of the camera tab is shaped for the pointer finger, and the bottom of the palm fits nicely around the tab on the right. On the left side, there is also a little outcropping that helps the phone rest more easily on the pinky finger. The case fits together using three snap fits that are accessible from the outside, but not so accessible that one could accidentally open the casing. The thickness of the phone grants an unexpected opportunity: to stand the phone upright. Therefore, I included an angle on the bottom of the case so that the user can stand the phone on a flat surface. This design is meant to fit nicely in the hand, hold the internal pieces in place well, and not accidentally come apart. Thank you for taking the time to view this piece!
