I really liked TychoBrahe's gimbal design and I had some 10mm rails and a gimbal sitting around on a drone I don't really fly anymore, so I figured I would put it to good use and make a stabilized filming rig for my GoPro. I modified the design of the joystick mount to hold a clamp for my iPhone so that I can view the video feed from the camera. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2986740 I also modified the design of the base slightly by shortening the "legs" since my gimbal setup was crashing into the base when rolling. In addition I added two small potentiometers to adjust pitch and yaw of the gimbal. I attached the wire layout and Arduino sketch that I used with an Adafruit Trinket 3v to generate the PWM signal for the gimbal input.
