Hand Powered Fan

Hand Powered Fan

thingiverse

This is a hand powered fan. It spins using a finger tapping motion. It was created in Tinkercad and printed in ABS on a Flashforge Creator Pro 3D Printer. The fins are only small so it doesn't move a huge amount of air. But it's a fun desk toy and can produce a little bit of cooling. I'm hoping to create a V2 in the future with larger fins and gears to spin the fan even faster. Sample & Install video: http://youtu.be/Iq9BotNDr5g The idea of a tapping motion to spin the fan is based on wooden fans created by Youtube user noho91 Instructions To print everything at once, download All_Parts_Single_Print.stl Otherwise you can download the individual parts. Just remember to print 8 pieces of Wing Part.stl Printed without rafts but with supports turned on. All of the pieces can actually be printed without supports except the fan blades and the hub.
