Problem Statement: Hand sanitizers are deemed to be one of the most important accessories in today’s petrifying scenario of health and hygiene. Although, they prove to be effective in eliminating infectious microorganisms in the hand, the process of having to touch the bottle before and after use causes retention of these harmful microorganisms on the bottle, thereby making the cleansing less effective. This conclusively results in unclean hands, posing risk to harmful diseases. Solution: The Hand-Strapped Sanitizer is a product designed to avoid contact of the hand sanitizer bottle before and after use. This is by strapping a wrist band holder for the sanitizer bottle to the ‘Palmar’ side of the hand using Velcro straps. The bottled sanitizer will also be strapped to the holder for fixed support. In order to facilitate cleansing action, the strapped bottle can be squeezed using the elbow of the individual’s other arm, thereby resulting in effective cleansing without contact of the sanitizer bottle.
