This is another take on tap guides or aligners. Instead of aligning the tap this one aligns the tap tool. You need a cross style tap handle with the jaws on the end of the shaft. Also you will have to scale the model to fit your tap handle. The hole in the model is 0.803" (20.4mm). You want a tight fit which still allows the tap to move. A slip fit. Measure your tap handle diameter and scale to fit. Also you need to take into account the accuracy of your printer - mine prints holes about 0.015" on the small side. You may still need to file the hole smooth for the tap to spin and move smoothly. A sanding cylinder in a rotary tool works well. Two versions are included a shorter one for shorter taps and a taller one for longer taps.
