Handi-Saw Remastered

Handi-Saw Remastered

thingiverse

This is a remix designed to address the biggest issues with the original Handi-saw by alchemistTi. This design is meant for permanent installation. Screws are gone. The maker coats side A with mixed adhesive (recommend 2-part Epoxy) then installs the blade, adds a second coat of epoxy, then aligns side B with side A and clamps them together. The grip itself is based on a Kabar, meant for denser infil, and is larger to fit the maker's hand more securely when using. There is also a short tang version that reduces the amount of blade made unusable by the grip, shortening the tang from 82mm to 40mm. There is also a belt loop shealth that can accomodate up to 150mm of useable blade length. Saw Grip A2 and B2 have adhesive channels build into the design to improve the overall adhesion when gluing the two halves together.
