Handlebar Phone Mount | Basic

Simplified version of the mount I use on my motorcycle. It's extremely basic, 2 parts, 3 zipties, 2-4 rubber bands, rubber strip for grip. Not my invention. Top part has a space for a SMALL ziptie, purely for redundancy, I don't want the layers to break apart on bumpy trails so the ziptie keeps them together if they do (although I highly doubt they'll split easily). Rubber strip wraps around the bar, under the mount to prevent slippage of the mount (I had a left over strip from my headlight mount). Rubber bands wrap around the "neck" of the mount and hold the oposing corner of the phone. There are 2 slots on the underside, meant for a long rubber band to run from top-bottom across the phone. My rubber bands were too long so I never got to test the slots properly, But I still like the idea of one tight band running down the center. My rubber bands had to be doubled up but they keep the phone in place well. Use good rubber bands.
