Handy Handheld Camera Mount

Handy Handheld Camera Mount

This is a handy holder for small video or still cameras that allows you to set the camera down on any surface or tripod mount. There is an optional Gopro mount for if you want to catch something in slow motion simultaneously. It features trapped nut and bolt design and is easy to assemble. The indent at the bottom accomodates different sized lens caps. Just print your own and superglue it in. I've included a remix of a 49mm lens cap holder, which might work for you. Update: Added a version of the handle that is 1/4" taller for larger hands. Instructions Print top and bottom with support. I print support at 10% infill - it pops out with just a bit of exacto knife work. Your results may vary. The top and bottom fit together pretty snugly, but you will probably want to use ca glue (superglue) to make sure it doesn't come apart and destroy your camera. You will need a standard 1/4-20 nut for the bottom tripod mount and a 1/4-20 bolt between 1/4" and 1/2" long where the main camera attaches. You may have to trim the bolt so your camera seats properly. The knurled knob stays in place when you push in the 1/4" bolt from underneath. Make sure it fits properly and turns smoothly before you glue the top and bottom together.
