Hang Glider

Hang Glider

thingiverse

Send your character off on their next adventure slung underneath a hang glider. The model has been created at approximately 1:10 scale, so you will need to scale the prints to fit your requirements. To keep the print relatively light, print with a low number of shells, low number of top and bottom layers and low percentage of infill. Depending on the required scale and your printer build volume, print using either the complete airfoil or the airfoil that is sectioned. On the sectioned model, you may need to modify the pieces for a good fit and assemble them using a good quility adhesive, such as epoxy. Use suitable string, wire or fishing-line to provide support between the airfoil, hanger and riser. You will also need to create a sling for the character’s legs. The following models are included: HangGlider_v01_Complete - one piece model HangGlider_v01_Airfoil - one piece airfoil HangGlider_v01_Airfoil_xxxx - airfoil split into parts HangGlider_v01_Hanger - where your character holds onto HangGlider_v01_Riser - pillar for support wires Pilot The hang glider was recreated in ViaCAD from a DAZ model. The pilot was exported from DAZ and remeshed in ZBrush.
