This hanging tag for wall mount mailboxes replaces a similar one that had protruding letters that fell off and looked flimsy. To ensure the tag fits inside an ISO Standard Letter envelope, I researched its size and stayed within those parameters so it can be stored in the mailbox when not in use. The tag can also be used in offices to sort incoming versus outgoing mail efficiently. When selecting a color for this hanging tag, especially if using it for official USPS mail, be cautious. According to the USPS website, "the carrier signal flag can be any color except green, brown, white, yellow or blue." The preferred color is fluorescent orange, and it must contrast clearly with the mailbox's predominant color. I printed my tag in orange filament and applied black nail polish for maximum contrast effect.
