In Japanese folklore the female demon (oni) Hannya figures prominently. Often depicted in traditional Noh and Bunraku plays using a wooden mask of a fierce and grimacing horned demon, this malicious entity may be Japan's most well-known demon. I've always been drawn to Japanese style art and find these masks fascinating. Its my first go around making one. I tried to stay with a traditional look while adding some of my own embelishments. Terribly hard to not make a demon look too sinister. I may have another go (or two) at these masks Enjoy! Instructions Two models included. One is the original model as created. It has a fairly smooth back (layer 1) and would probably print with rafting / support. The other model has been flattened for a smooth strong bed adhesion. The mask is oriented in a way that provides for the horns to print fairly vertical, so there shouldnt be any concerns with support. I am finding that the teeth have some overhang (I undercut them in the model...lesson learned), but I dont really think its a big deal. Print size is 108mm long x 80mm wide x 87mm high
