It is an idea to keep your phone at hand on your car. This support is designed for my Honda HRV and my Huawei p9 lite with 5 "display with standard cover and can be fixed in the small compartment above the radio. The cradle can be rotated so you can use your phone as a GPS navigator horizontally or vertically to make calls hands-free safely while driving activating the speakerphone function. By rotating the cradle you can also access the car stereo controls or air conditioning buttons. It is however also used on other cars with a free car stereo slot (double-radio frames). The parts can be printed in PLA or ABS or PETG, depending on which is the maximum temperature reached in summer inside the car. Set 3 edges to print the craddle to make it more robust. Supports where needed ... especially in recessed areas. The two jaws have been printed together in a vertical position arranged longitudinally. Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa i3 DIY Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 50-70 Post-Printing Use a M4 x 50mm screw to assembly the jaws to the central block and a M4x30 screw with a nylonstop nut to assembly the craddle tightening so you can turn it. How I Designed This The part is designed with onshape cadhttps://cad.onshape.com/documents/c79ac5c33f676d22f52ff487/w/aaeb1c0bfb61e0742492d06f/e/b189a52df61ab70fc0ee5441 and shared so anyone having an onshape account can import the original model to adapt it to own phone and car.
