Found a free graphic whale model on TF3DM, cleaned and sliced it for 3D printing in meshmixer. http://tf3dm.com/3d-model/humpback-13369.html I used this splash, and re-shaped it a bit to fit: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:237065 it makes an excellent counterbalance, no glue is required at base. The loose fin acts as a support, no other supports are needed. Print Settings Printer: home built Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .2 Infill: dealer's choice Notes: I printed with 5% infill, and it melted the top fin at the very end (wasn't watching it), so I cut and re-printed a new one that was hollow and that worked well (added .STL file in case). I tried to place the other loose fin as a support, it worked for me. Post-Printing glue the fin on and place in base. (I painted mine)
