Hapstone Scissors Attachment for M2, V7, R1, R2, M3 and V8

This is a scissors sharpening clamp attachment for Hapstone sharpeners. I have designed different versions for each of the M2, V7, R1, M3 & V8 models. The R1 version of my design also works with the Hapstone R2 / M3 / V8 machine. [NOTE - Updated version with a scissors attachment, combined with a knife guide and magnetic base for smaller flat ground knives. Magnet size - round 12mmx3mm. Photo of my Edge Pro version attached only for reference] I highly recommend a strip of rubberised tape (I use ISC Racers Tape / Helicopter tape) for the insides of the clamp for a very secure grip. Install M4 brass threaded melt-in inserts for the 2 holes in the platform side of the clamp. Also insert a M4 brass threaded melt-in insert into the larger bottom hole of the small scissors clamp. 2 x M4 screws and 1 x M4 thumbscrew are needed to operate the scissors clamp. (If you are printing my combined scissors & knife guide combo, then you will also need 1 x M4 thumbscrew and brass insert and 3 x 12mmx3mm round neodymium magnets.) Simply remove the current adjustable knife guide from your Hapstone table (Or remove your rotating clamp assembly if installed), and replace it with my platform. Screw into position and tighten. The clamp part of the scissors attachment can be used as follows: (See my photos) Note - The bottom hole is for counter-tightening the clamp as described below. Tighten the top 2 screws to lightly hold your scissors blade in position, and then tighten the bottom screw. (The bottom screw should only have a brass insert on the inside of the small clamp, so it causes a cantilever action and opens the bottom of the clamp up when you tighten the bottom screw, effectively forcing the top closed nice and snug on your scissors blade. Again, the top two screws are only for lightly holding the scissors blade in place and positioning it, after which you tighten the bottom screw which then cantilevers the top of the clamp to grip the scissors blade tightly. Note: The V7 version might work on the Hapstone V5 and V6, I have not tested them for those 2 models so please let me know if it works for them also.
