Overview: Harbor Freight Bin Dividers for the 1.5" x 2" small bins. 2 Designs, to either lift items out of bins, or have minimal gap between split compartments. Design: Both models are designed for simplicity and pure printing speed. They are designed specifically for 3D printing with 0.4mm nozzles. The models are a true constant width of 0.8mm, every layer will be a 2 perimeter wall with no wasted movements or filament. Both models use about 3g of filament, significantly less than printing an entire bin. The Speed Lift divider is the simplest model with the fastest printing speed. It allows for a basic division of the small HF parts bin, and allows 'lifting' items out of the bin. Due to the slight slope of the bins and corner fillets, gaps will exist on the sides of the wall. This model is intended for larger parts that wont sneak by the gaps. The Divine Divide model is designed for a near perfect separation of bin compartments while using nearly the same amount of filament as the Speed Lift. Bin slope, wall bow, injection mold point, and the case top bin aligners have all been taken into account. It is impervious to shift and part mixing when placed in the carring case and the lid closed, though the divider can slip when outside the case if only one compartment is heavily loaded. Gluing in the divider with hot glue or superglue on the outside supports eliminates this possibility. Printing: As these are designed for exactly 2 perimeters, simply make sure your slicer produces a single continuous layer. If you have no current adhesion issues, then a raft or brim will not be necessary. The default model orientation is correct for printing. A model with 12 pre-arranged dividers has been included.
