These are solid and designed for the HF tire changer motorcycle adapter without its own hooks but with the _flush_ back plate [ http://www.harborfreight.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/i/m/image_23490.jpg ]. Nylon or ABS recommended, and ABS may need to up the infill percentage. v2 is shelled in the lower area and solid at the top where the rim hook actually is. It also has more material on top, shallower rim notches, and bigger fillets on bottom to ease hammering the insert into place. The downside is I haven't tested V2...yet If you would like these re-licensed in a commercially usable way, drop me a line. Otherwise it is expected per GPL that any design changes or integration point must be shared.
